Terms of Service

Effective from 01 May 2026Last updated 22 April 2026
These terms govern your use of RouteFi Drive. They are written in plain English. If anything is unclear, email support@routefidrive.com — we will answer in plain English too.
1

Introduction

RouteFi Drive is a vehicle finance platform operated by Dignified Labs (“we”, “us”, “RouteFi”, “RouteFi Drive”), a company registered in Nigeria. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RouteFi Drive website at routefidrive.com, the customer portal at my.routefidrive.com, and any branded dealer instances hosted at [dealer].routefidrive.com. By creating an account, submitting a finance application, or using the portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2

Eligibility

To use RouteFi Drive, you must: • Be a Nigerian citizen or legal resident; • Be at least 21 years old; • Hold a valid BVN and NIN; • Have a Nigerian bank account in your own name; • Provide accurate and complete information throughout your application.
3

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your RouteFi Drive account, including the email address used to sign in. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We use passwordless email sign-in — we will never ask for your password because there is none.
4

Finance agreements

RouteFi Drive facilitates hire-purchase finance agreements between you and a dealer on our network. In a hire-purchase agreement: • The dealer retains legal ownership of the vehicle until the final payment is made; • You have full use of the vehicle from the day of delivery, subject to the terms of your agreement; • Ownership transfers to you automatically once the final instalment clears. Your specific finance agreement — including the total amount financed, interest rate, monthly payment, term, and any applicable fees — is issued by your dealer and made available to you in your portal before you accept it. You should read your agreement carefully before signing.
5

Payments

Payments are processed through Paystack, a licensed Nigerian payment service provider. You may pay via: • Debit card (Nigerian-issued); • Direct bank transfer; • USSD; • Automatic recurring debit, where you have authorised this. A payment is considered made on the date it is confirmed by Paystack. Failed payments do not constitute a missed payment if they are retried and successful within the grace period specified in your agreement.
6

Missed payments & defaults

If a scheduled payment is not made on time: • We will contact you to understand why and work with you on a catch-up plan; • Persistent missed payments may incur the late payment fee specified in your agreement; • Extended default may trigger repossession of the vehicle under the terms of your agreement, as well as reporting to Nigerian credit bureaus. We do not use aggressive collection tactics, and we will always give you the opportunity to bring your account back to good standing before taking formal action.
7

Early settlement

You may request an early settlement quote at any time from your portal. The quote will show: • Your current outstanding balance; • A rebate on future interest, calculated according to the Rule of 78 or equivalent fair method; • A flat settlement fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance; • The exact amount required to settle. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Once you pay the settlement amount, your agreement is closed and ownership of the vehicle transfers to you.
8

Dealers & third parties

Dealers on the RouteFi Drive network are independent businesses. They set their own loan terms, interest rates, fees, and vehicle prices within limits configured by RouteFi. RouteFi facilitates the platform but is not a party to your vehicle purchase contract, which sits between you and the dealer. We work with the following verified third parties: Paystack (payments), Dojah and Mono (identity verification), Auth0 (authentication), Supabase (file storage), and Resend (email). Their use is covered in our Privacy Policy.
9

Data & privacy

Your use of RouteFi Drive is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
10

Liability

RouteFi Drive is provided on an “as is” basis. We take reasonable steps to ensure the platform is available, secure, and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses that are: • Not directly caused by our negligence; • Caused by the actions of a dealer or third party; • The result of you providing inaccurate information during your application. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for matters that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
11

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and the updated terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
